Today I came across a problem I had in Windows 10, the “Quick Access” in my Explorer did no longer work – on all my windows PC’s.
As soon as I tried to add the current folder to the “Quick Access” bar a prompt popped up telling me the docfile has been corrupted.

After searching the web for quite some time I came across a fix for this problem in one of Microsoft’s forums.

The solution is to run a command prompt as administrator and run the following command:

del %appdata%microsoftwindowsrecentautomaticdestinations*

After running this command Windows will ask you if you are sure to delete *, simply press Y + Enter and check your explorer. The “Quick Access” bar should now be working as expected.

Hope this helps!
